More skills: below is a list of skills (sorted by stat) that might be fun to add afterwards. Some of these are active, though, and therefore require extra client support (skill-specific hotkeys). STR: - shield bash (push back monster, dealing light damage, possibly also against any monster you may have pushed it against) - strike (sacrifice to-hit for extra damage, but lower your def for a short time) AGI: - sneak (aggressive monsters have a harder time spotting you and forget you more easily) - backstab (if a monster is attacking someone else AND that someone else is on the other side of the monster, improved to-hit and deal extra damage (rate-limited) - untouchable (extra dodge while not sitting) - ten ninjas (rate-limited attack during which you move forward, attacking each monster you pass, possibly more than once. Afterwards, you cannot move and have reduced def for a moment.) DEX: - double arrow (fire two arrows at once, reduced firing rate and lower to-hit) - stop attack (nail your opponent's feet to the ground for a brief while) - ...? (extra damage for ranged weapons) VIT: - lay on hands (give own HP to other player) - protect (draw enemy attacks to self) - retribution (sacrifice HP for stronger attack with improved to-hit) INT: - astral body (improved magic defence) - astral heart (regenerate mana faster: when introducing this, reduce the default regen rate) (All three astral skills need to be equipped to cast astral level 5 spells) LUK: - coin toss (fire a couple of GP as ranged weapons) - chain reaction (whenever you cause a crit, there is a chance that the monster will take a step back onto another monster that will then take a crit, too, etc.) - lucky looter (increase loot chances for monsters you killed yourself) For some of these skills, more NPCs will be needed. Black Don at one point made a terrific knight sprite that I highly recommend to incorporate into this scheme.
