Below is a listing of three extension/balancing plans for tmw. Both plans target the game at the status as of the end of last year; some of the balancing concerns may since have disappeared or been replaced by others. The plans are focussed on two aspects: magic, and skills. The idea behind skills is to give players new active and passive abilities. Players may learn any number of skills; however, they may only have a small number of these active and available at any given time (this balances for tmw being class-less.) In particular, magic users will need to occupy most of their slots with magic skills to be effective on higher levels, leaving warriors with `real' extra abilities. Plan #0: Balancing fixes The purpose of this plan is to address some open bugs in the game balance. This includes the introduction of a minimal set of skills, leveraging existing tmw-athena facilities.
