# If You Knew

John 4:1-26

Our pastor finally came back from abroad btw.

> If you knew the gift of Gof and who it is that asks yoou for a drink, you would have asked him and he would have given you living water.
> John 4:10

Jesus met the Samarithan woman at the well, who had change 5 partners already.

Samarithan asked Jesus why did he asked her for water? Jesus replied it was the Samarithan woman who needed the water rather, the living water

Jesus then asked her to bring her husband to receive the living water also.

The Samarithan who has been with 5 men was likely despised by her family and neighbors. She was probably condemned by her community. Yet it was Jesus, the Son of God, who initiated the conversation at the well and led her to the solution in her life. She reciprocated.

Why did the Samarithan asked Jesus about the place of worship? She might be thinking if she went to the wrong place of worship, hence her problems in her life remained unsolved. The problem of constantly changing from one partner to another.

Jesus replied, true workship was to worship in the Spirit and in truth. In other words if your attitude toward God is correct, your problems in life will be fixed.
