# Come Ask Jesus

These notes were from the sermon previous week as I was busy playing Monster Hunter Wilds with my friends :D

Mark 12:18-34

Saducees conjured up a theoretical question to challenge Jesus regarding rebirth by using an example of a woman who was remarried several times and her marital status in Heaven. Jesus rebuked the Saducees by saying that they do not understand the Word of God.

Jesus corrected the Saducees that people who are reborn in the Heaven no longer get married unlike on earth. This implied our lives are transformed when in Heaven. If our lives don't get transformed, do we even look forward to go to Heaven if our sinful natures are carried into Heaven?

But do they accept the correction? The worldly people don't really take correction Sadducees thought since paradox is unsolveable, therefore rebirth is impossible.

Blessed are the Saducees if any of them accepts Jesus' correction even if they might not come from the right intention or ask the right question. So do Christians shouldn't fear about coming to ask God even if we might be unable to ask the right question.

The more we know about God and His mightiness, the less we fear. As long as we follow's the path of God and be in His presence.

As Christians, we have priesthood identity (since only priests in the Old Testament can enter the holy place under certain condition), therefore we can come to the presence of God as long as we desire for it.

God is full of abundance. If we come to church services without receiving anything, we are missing a lot. Hope we don't kust go to church simply because the songs and the sermons are good.
