# Faith and Deeds James 2:14-26; Hebrews 11:1-7 Faith without deed is dead Although we are saves by faith alone, faith without deed is dead. Even if you claim to have faith, but if there is no deed, your faith is dead according to the author of James. Faith and good deed are the two sides of the same coin. To have faith in Christ is to accept Christ and to accept baptism.Baptism is to accept that Jesus Christ has died for our sins and resurrected. For God has promised Abraham a son, Abraham knew even if he sacrificed Isaac, God will have a way to make him pass down his heritage. From the story of sacrificing Isaac, it can be inferred that God doesn't need us to sacrifice our son, rather we need the Son of God to be sacrifice for our sins. The ram that appeared during Isaac's sacrifice symbolized Jesus Christ. 2026/08/16 => /thyrium/index.gmi Go back
