I have been keeping an eye out for a typewriter for a while. Not that I need another project. But to be honest I have wanted to start writing physical letters to my grandmothers for a while now. But after a quarter century having to write paperwork in all caps, but only ever writing a few sentences at most, I have a lot of trouble writing a long-form letter. Which is absolutely a cop-out but oh well. I was keen on a Smith-Corona Classic 12 but those seem to be rare in my part of Canada, and are a bit more expensive than I can justify spending on a new project. But I randomly looked at facebook marketplace a couple of weekends ago and there was an SCM Prestige for sale for like $40. It works just fine other than needing to be regreased. What a bargain! 

It's not exactly what I was looking for, but I'm super happy with it. It's on the todo list at least. Spring is kinda here so the time for activities is upon me. Hopefully it'll be refurbed pretty soon. I am tempted to repaint it but that'll be a future thing.
