# 19FEB2026 - It has been a time. 

It has been a rough month or two for me, at least in terms of online friendships. The escalating turmoil in the US caused some pretty major fracturing of my main friend group. With one side letting their mask slip to show their maga beliefs, another side getting mad about it, and the admins invoking the rules unevenly at best because they're friends with people on both sides. This has sucked the energy out of me, for basically everything else I have going on. I miss my friends, but I also don't want to seem like I support the few who are arseholes by hanging out on the same server. Guh. I am too old for scene drama. 

I will try to pull myself out of this funk. I have things I want to do. It's starting to feel like spring, but I haven't finished building my winter bike. So yeah.
