I'm pleased the Morserino arrived. I was worried it never would due to
the lithium battery and air freight/customs. I double checked it on the
Royal Mail website and several AI agents and they all assured me that it
was fine as inside the device. But the device is a home made thing that
probably looks dodgy. It was also a tiny battery so that helps. AI
helped me write the customs form, with the codes and what to write.
Although the printed version had most of it cut off but perhaps the
electronic version captures it all and when scanned that helps. Anyway,
success.

I'm starting to understand why POTA and CW is so so so very popular in
the US. I understand  portable and QRP and your the "DX" so everyone
looks and chases you, but now I see the CW exchange
<https://potacw.guide/> is very straight forward and manageable. I'm
trying to do MorseMania every day whilst on holiday.

This domain expires in <30 days and I'm still torn as to whether I
cancel it, renew it, and then what I do with this site. Right now it's
being built on neocities (although I forget the username just now) and
SDF gopher, which could easily continue. But I'm liking pika more and
more.

I don't think I want a daily post on it, maybe some highlights in the
weekly notes.

Or I just pay the $10 and renew and not bother changing anything. Or
thinking about it.

At the other end of the spectrum is the watch topic...⏱️👀 found a
(supposedly) trustworthy second hand store in the U.K.  probably not the
cheapest of prices but also legit. Secondhand ones on it are
considerably less than new. Also learning of new models that I like.
This is all just a research project and given I spent 4 months debating
whether or not to buy a £300 watch and then a £90 one, anything in the
1,000s is laughable. Anyway, it's fun, in some weird way. Probably I
should continue my morse code practice. Although supposedly, doing 15
minutes at a time is better than long periods.
