A boy wanted to spend his money on an instax camera but he also wanted
to take photos of bugs. We suggested a small photo printer might be
better and he can use my camera. So we bought a Canon Selphy. Several
coupons were available so it was about £40 cheaper.

I wondered about a macro lens for my camera. The best (and affordable)
ones are all manual focus, which I don't think they'll like. The
autofocus ones aren't too cheap. I used to have the old 60mm, which was
nice but slow to focus. They have a newer 80mm f/2.8, but it's huge and
expensive. They do a 30mm f/2.8 but I think you'd have to get so close
that the bug would fly away. Although does look like a nice compact
lens.
