Ibanez: an RG model with some obnoxious model number. Something like RG5432DXFX. Fixed bridge, which I replaced with some unbranded one in a gold finish. Perhaps I was lucky it actually fit, or the seller just didn't know who made it. Going for Black & Gold theme, same as my school colors, same as the Gold Power Ranger. Swapped the stock DiMarzio in the bridge with a Lace "Deathbucker." Jackson Rhoads V: the cheapest variation of the Rhoads with only a volume knob, "Licensed Floyd Rose" tremolo and Duncan Designed pickups. I replaced the pickup mount rings to give it a full chrome hardware theme. The finish is "Amber Sunburst" which is unique. Model number is something like RRX10D. Also put a "Deathbucker" in the bridge to match the tone of the Ibanez when recording/playing shows. This one is actually a bit more shrill and my friend explained it's because there's no tone pot. Apparently the cap will ground enough of the signal to make a noticeable difference even if the pot is "fully on." ESP Baritone: Don't know the model number but you can easily find it. Scale length is 27". Came tuned to B Standard but as described in another document I put a .68 gauge string on the bottom and tuned it to fifths starting at F. Came with passive EMG Hz pickups which I will replace at some point with Bareknuckles. The neck position has no output. I've had no motivation to troubleshoot it. Squier VI: the cheaper version of the Fender Bass VI but I don't know the difference other than the price. I got this recently so haven't gigged with it but have recorded lots of bass tracks with it. Fender Jazz Bass: a project my dad put together. He stripped the paint (don't recall what it was) and burned it with a torch, then probably stained it. I was a child when he worked on it so I don't recall that part. But I recall fire. He took out all the frets and not only filled them in but coated the entire neck with polyurethane. His dad played several classical instruments and his primary one was the double bass. He (my grandfather) passed away when I was a small child but one of my earliest memories is of him giving me a chocolate bar: a Symphony bar. I still enjoy that chocolate from time to time.
