The Backroad to Civilization
September 1st, 2026:

	Well, my brief period of burnout is at an end and, for a change, 
 I have ideas for the future.  Starting today, I'm going to be writing 
 every day.

				Every.

				Damned.

				Day.


I'd been toying with the idea of starting another blog, but I don't want 
to join yet another commercial blogging platform, learn WriteFreely, or 
selfhost instead, I'm going to keep doing what I enjoy on the two 
protocols I love: Gopher and Gemini.

I've paid my back dues to SDF and look forward to taking advantage of 
them as a publishing platform again.
