The urge to be lazy and not update a strange little blog is very real.
I was always kinda expecting that, though, just like I assumed logging into
the server would get boring for a while, too.

It's nice to have a server, always out there, online and waiting for you to 
return to whenever you're in the mood to type some characters into a terminal

:)

Anyway, life has been weird as usual, because I'm me and that's how it works.

If I'm lucky I might be going to my first convention in December, and it is 
THE convention I've been seeing in ancient Flickr photos and in people's
FA journals since I ended up in this strange corner of the internet at 13.

As curious as I've always been about seeing one of these things up close, 
the most exciting part is already seeing at least one very good friend in
person, although from what I've always noticed that's exactly how it should be.

I'd like to think that if you're there for the friends rather than the sex,
you're doing it right. Although I'm sure the sex is fun too, if that's what
you're into. :P
