I'm not sure why I'm starting a Gopher journal. Technically, it's just as
public as a blog is, except that many of today's internet users don't know
what Gopher is, let alone how to use it. So, it's not secret; but not
exactly public. I suppose that's the appeal. 

The public nature of writing a blog has the added pressure of my desire 
for search ranking and even monetization, to some extent. Here, it's just 
a journal. 

So, today was a bit of a waste. I did go fix a client computer. I've got 
another to deliver. I should have worked on a workshop outline; but was 
completely unmotivated. I'm going to have to scramble tomorrow. 

So much to do; but damn lazy summer is so demotivating. 

Glass of wine. Some reading. Then to bed. I have work tomorrow.
