Peaceful cat
whose gravious curves
lend simple thoughts
of lazy ways
to yawning mindsds
which only want
a moment's rest
from busy feelings
that leave no chance
to close their eyes.

Lucky cat
object of envy
waking, stretching
ever sleeping, not a pause
in which you worry
if your day is done
or whether
you forgot to eat
or greet a friend.

Humble cat
I'm glad I know
fairly more
than ever you could
hope to learn
by constant survey
of complex places
intruding on
our flooded senses
ad infinitum.
