REVISITING GOPHERSPACE

It's been awhile since I've been back to journal in my gopher account. It 
took me a bit of time to remember how to login; let's face it, unless 
you've got all your credentials saved, it's nearly impossible unless the 
admins smile upon you and believe that you are whoe you claim to be. 

Anyway, I understand why they keep it secure. There's always someone 
wanting to take down a network for the sheer enjoyment of wrecking someone 
else's slice of the internet. 

I've got a lot to journal about, but for now it's late on a Friday evening 
and Josh and I are going to a memorial service for a friend of the 
family; for the mother of one of Josh's childhood friends.
