What another busy day, not going to go too much into it, pretty much the same as my last phlog post, however, I really am starting to get fed up with a few things that also went up with the last phlog. Avoiding that whole fiasco, I have actually started working on a Youtube video for Gopher, how it came to be, how to access it, my experience with it, and all of that sort. And before the web2 deniers start emailing me that I shouldnt be using web2.0, I say that it's here to stay, might as well make use of it. I'm putting quite a bit of effort into it, so hopefully it does well. I currently only have an intro written, and will probably take another week or so before it's finished, but if anyone reading this is from that video in the future, HELLO! I have been trying to isolate myself from Google, Facebook/Meta, and the other tech giants trying to harvest data, but I have come to the conclusion that, it's way harder than you might think. I will post in my random thoughts section about my experiences trying to get off data harvesting giants, but lets just say there is a reason I still use google services for most things. As much as gopher is nice and peacful, you just cannot run your entire existance on it, there is not enough deticated information on this platform for that, you simple just have to use the web. I will continue to work on that video, give periodic updates, and try to bring more people to this platform, it definietly is a nice platform, and I would love to see it continue to grow. That's about it though, wanted to try to keep it somewhat short. For now, Take care. -punchinglikes (edit on 9-11-22: fix web3.0 to web2.0 (thanks Ruari))
