Hello Robert ! Thanks for your report of Radio Havana Cuba and of my show Dxers Unlimited. 6165 kiloHertz reaches you by means of a 100 kiloWatts power output transmitter that is feeding a beautiful high gain antenna beaming 340 degrees azimuth from Havana. You may want to try also listening to 6000 kiloHertz that is fed with the same program, but with the antenna beaming 010 degrees azimuth from Havana that places the main beam in the direction of Ottawa , Canada and all along the way... It is running a 250 kiloWatts transmitter. Earlier in the day you can hear Dxers Unlimited on other frequencies, for example 5040 kiloHertz on the Tropical Band known as 60 meters, and on 11760 kiloHertz on the 25 meters band. I am forwarding your report to our correspondence department so that Irma Veitía the person in charge of answering the English language letters and e'mail messages will send you a nice QSL, that I will be very happy to autograph it with my signature. 73 and DX Arnie Coro host of Dxers Unlimited RHC radio hobby program On 01/26/2014 09:40 PM, Robert Lowe wrote: > Reception Report > ---------------- > Date: 1/26/2014 > Time: 2:00UTC - 3:00UTC > Frequency: 6165kHz > QTH: Knoxville, TN > Distance: Approximately 892 Miles > Strength: 25db s/n Very clear, easy to understand.
