Hello loyal readers, it's been a while.

Not too many excuses, busy or distracted depending on your point of
view.

I now have a complete new personal website, written mostly by AI of
course, but with plenty of input from me; a note-taking page, a
wiki, some useful tools and an archive, plus a place for
experiments. Nothing fancy, HTML, PHP and Markdown mostly, no fancy
frameworks, backup just by copying the whole directory. I like
simple.

Also working on a translation of an old German book of mine (1857),
which I hope to release as an ebook at some point, more details to
follow hopefully. It's challenging but luckily it's a book I love
and the process is helping me to understand it more, which is
necessary as it's a little freaky in places.

Apart from computer stuff it's mostly about the beer, everyone
needs a hobby.
