As usual, an endless cycle of buggering about with AI and computing instead of writing letters, maybe today will be the day. Coding ("vibe" coding I suppose but I don't like the word) in the pub on my smartphone. One of the things AI is good for is spinning up prototype ideas in no time at all, this happened at the weekend when I was sitting in the pub. Mucking around with Termux I managed to install sbcl, so asked ChatGPT for ideas to do with it, the winner was a local Hunchentoot server to serve local web pages. I've tried this a couple of times before on my laptop but this seemed a more novel idea. Short version, it works really well, so I (meaning AI) added an about page which explains how it all works, and a micro-wiki for taking notes when I'm out and about, which means mostly in the pub. For all you techies this is probably nothing much, but it amused me greatly, more perhaps than it should have. In other news, Band-Maid tickets for the London gig in June are nearly on sale, wish me luck! .
