# Settler's Annual Supper Cookies

Preheat oven to 375° Farenheit

Cream Together:
* 2 cups shortening
* 1 1/3 cups white sugar
* 1 1/3 cups brown sugar
* 2 teaspoons vanilla
* 2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1 teaspoons water

Add:
* 4 beaten eggs
* 3 cups flour
* 2 teaspoons salt
* 3 1/2 cups oatmeal
* chocolate chips to taste

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes
