text: The TildeVerse is a movement started in October 2014 by [[tilde.club/~ford|John Ford]] that aims to create on-line social networks using the Unix user shell as a platform, and is comprised of Ford's flagship host [[tilde.club]] and a number of other hosts inspired by it.
