One interesting side-benefit (?) of being connected to community
acupuncture folks is that you get to hear their stories - or stories from
their patients [

these patients, after all, tend to be in working class lifestyles.

I find it interesting the things that made this list.  I can't tell if
flossing makes #1 because she had a couple hefty dental bills or if it is
an example of taking preventive care seriously for the savings it offers.

I also find it interesting that while a number of these things fall into
the common sense category of "prepare and know your budget", some emphasis
is put on ensuring you're in a proper community that can help you support
your lifestyle.  We are not alone in living the lives we want to live
despite a budget being a personal creation.
