TIDE (Posted 2011-01-10 14:13:21 by ArchPaladin) I had a conversation with my wife and mother-in-law recently about the composition and safety of the detergent Tide. She mentioned once getting the MSDS sheet for Tide back in (I think) the '80s and how this was a big factor in understanding what was in common household chemicals that she was using. At the time, I marveled that anyone would think to go and get a full MSDS sheet for a washing detergent. So of course, in line with my theory that everything is now online [ https://www.archpaladin.net/2010/08/19/everything-is-totally-online/ ] [archpaladin.net], I went and found the MSDS sheet [ https://www.archpaladin.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/tide_msds.pdf ] [archpaladin.net] for Tide straight from Proctor & Gamble's website [ http://www.pg.com/productsafety/search_results.php?searchtext=Tide&category=msds&submit=Search ] [pg.com]. I'll let you form your own conclusions about: * the safety of the ingredients themselves * whether Proctor & Gamble has listed all ingredients in the detergent on the MSDS * the safety of the alleged hidden ingredients from the above bullet point -------- There are no comments on this post.
