GREEN HEALTHCARE

I came across the term 'green healthcare' today.  I'm not sure if this is
just a buzzword or not.  My current opinion is that it is.

From what I can tell, it's meant to describe the process of ensuring that
healthcare establishments are:

* built sustainably

* are ecologically considerate with their pharmaceutical handling

* work with communities to promote health-conscious lifestyle and
environmental change

* probably other things that I'm not sure about yet



So, it sounds kind of buzzword-y, but a neat idea in practice.  I can't
really see it catching on, but any positive changes that come out of it to
help people should make it worthwhile.  It certainly raises good questions
for people considering starting their own practice.
