Apparently Barnes & Noble is going up for sale [

] [thestreet.com].  Not being one to follow the financial situations of
common retail companies, I had no idea they were suffering for business.

My wife and I have recently found a number of large used book stores in the
local area - many of which sell books for about $1-5.  I suppose this will
be the eventual future of brick & mortar bookstores, with stores like this
having sections for new books as well.

I wonder if we'll see large discounts at B&N stores.  Probably only if some
of them end up closing.
