PAYPHONES

So payphones have an interesting history and following.  You wouldn't know
this in general, but once you get into the computer communities you find
those people who still have a very active interest in the workings of the
public phone network.

Today I found out that one of my coworkers had listed a fax number as his
main phone number to be reached at work.  My coworkers and I found this
amusing, and decided that we should change our answering machine messages
to be some obscure prerecorded phone message.

Apparently you can find websites with repositories [
