I confess I haven't had much to talk about lately. And because of that I'm not publishing much on my phlog as I wanted to. Autumn is at our doors, but the heat here still high. Yesterday I went to a nearby town to attend to a small fair, with local handicraft and a music + painting performance. There were very dark clouds in the distance and we thought it was going to rain. But the clouds passed and nothing happened. Besides that the day was hot like a day in June or July. This town, Melides, is very small and has a great community of german folks. People around there work mainly on agriculture, tourism and other tradicional activities. There's also two art galleries. It's what I find fascinating about these places. They are small but have much to offer. I got this leather flight jacket that belonged to a uncle of mine. This type of jackets were very popular in Portugal in the 80s/90s. This one is really old, but is still in very good condition. It was made in Morocco. I had been thinking about getting one for a while and suddenly one came to my hands by surprise. Maybe wishes do come true. P.S.: While turning this machine on to write this post, I though that there is a certain appeal about an OS booting slowly from a hard drive like in the old days. Somehow it made feel more connected with the computer.
