Today at work I got a bit stressed. There was a problem with payments and invoices. Took almost an hour, with the costumer waiting, to solve the issue. I hate when this happens. High stress moments like these almost drains my energy for the rest of the day. I'm still feeling a bit anxious and tired. After work I came home and played Cronos: The New Dawn. It's a linear game, but I'm enjoying it very much. Great ambiance, great landscapes, great OST. Some days ago I went to a nearby village called Casoto. It's very small. It has two or three houses and a cafe called Taberna do Casoto (Casoto's Tavern). I went into the tavern and inside there was much older people. An old lady behind the counter served me a coffee. I grabbed a chair, sat on a table and enjoyed my espresso while reading a few lines of a magazine. It's very nice to find these little places in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by woods. It's like if we have entered a portal and arrived at a magical place. Like a DnD adventure. Right now I'm listening to the album Soft Black Stars by Current 93. This first time I listened to this album, I got a chill all over my body. Current 93 sort of had a special place in my life. Back then, the more I listened to Current 93 the more I was changing and getting away from things that were dragging me down. It also influenced me later on my experimental music projects. Current 93 was the band that made me put Metal aside and start listening to other more obscure genres. David Tibet's lyrics also had an impact on my poems. Like Mail Art, I guess Current 93 also changed my life.
