GNU nano 8.4 entry16.txt Yesterday I went to the village where I was baptized. It's a small village in Alentejo called Colos. Arriving there I found a coffee/restaurant called Café Restaurante Piriquito. Ordered an espresso and relaxed from the voyage. After that I visited the church where my baptism was performed, but it was closed. I'm not catholic nor have a religion. As I said before, I follow buddhism very closely, but I'm not a buddhist. I was baptized when I was a baby. I had no choice. I might one day ask for apostasy, but I heard the church doesn't give it easily. Returning back home it started to rain. It's very strange because it's not supposed to happen in the Summer, specially in August. I was in the middle of the road with no town in proximity nor place to stop, so I could not escape the rain and got wet. But it felt good. It was all part of the adventure. I've been immersed in the world of capoeira for three years. But my back got hurt and I stopped practicing. I also needed to be away, not just from capoeira, but from other things in life. I needed to stop. I got tired of so many activities I was involved in. This week is happening in my town the international capoeira festival and I'm not attending. I'm not in the mood to be around so many people. I got some sort of social burnout. And it's not just that. In general I needed my space and my own time. Age might be playing a role. I need more and more of a quiet life. Until now I've been writing my posts with nano text editor, but today I tried composing this entry in LibreOffice Writer just to see how it worked. Well, it worked terrible. Text got all messed when I copied it to the SDF editor. I write my texts outside SDF because it doesn't lag. Good thing I found I have mceditor (from Midnight Commander) installed on my computer. It has an option to format paragraph which saved me from pressing enter line by line to format the text. Now it's all good. I know Nano has the justify text key shortcut, but it uses alt and that key is bounded to the Mod key of my i3wm setup. So I'm limited by that. I could always set de Mod key to the windows key, but my workflow would get slower. I still have to try the fmt tool. Maybe it's a solution for my problem.
