# Christy O'Twisty's 5 Questions for November ## Do/Did you do anything special for Samhain/Halloween/Dia de los Muertos? > I suppose so. This year I took my daughter trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Last year we had a lot of leaves in the yard so I raked those up and she played with them. Didn't do that this year because I lost track of time. ## Did a grandparent or great-grandparent serve in any of the World Wars of the 20th Century? > No. ## What are you a "natural" at doing? > Problem solving. I'm analytical and people always guess that I'm an engineer. Close enough, since I'm a Software Developer. I'm not a great one, as far as that field goes, but I'm pre-disposed to it and I'm definitely more suited to it than the average person. ## What has been your best work of art? > This is tricky. I have a bunch of little CLI tools that I'm proud of. Most recently, the Gemini browser I've been working on with ChatGPT Codex. But that's the tricky bit; I haven't actually written any of that code. I mean, I could have, but I didn't. That said, I think of my role in the production of that tool as just that: a producer. I'm not writing the code, but the vision for the browser is mine. I do consider it to be a creative endeavor, both aesthetically and experientially. ## What's something that amazes you? > How lucky I am. How the pieces of my life sometimes fall together as if by providence.
