This is a Boomer's first foray into the world of Gopher.


Before the World Wide Web became a thing, I had
dabbled with running a BBS. I remember how envious
I was when my younger users in college would tell me 
about their Internet access. Terms like 'archie', 'veronica',and
'gopher' would intrigue me. But I had no concept of
what could be done with them.

Fast-forward a lot of years, and the exploration of
Linux brought me closer to this earlier Internet tech.
Unix books that I purchased in the 80s and 90s finally
made sense to me. And now, here I am.
