The morning commute could have been a lot worse than it was. I was
on IH-35 when I saw emergency lights in the distance. I wasable to
exit to the access road before the traffic started stacking up. 
I was able to get around the accident scene with little delay. It
still took nearly 90 minutes to reach campus. I'm just glad that it
wasn't longer. I have a full schedule in the computer lab today. 
The last thing I needed was for that schedule to be thrown off.

So far, so good. No tech meltdowns in the computer lab.

I do have a slight reprieve between tests at the moment. I'm 
reveling in the peace and quiet that currently reigns here. :)

I've found that I need to make my terminal console font bigger than 
I usually prefer. Until my right-eye cataract is corrected, I'm 
stuck with my current eyeglass prescription. I can still drive OK, 
but reading text on a screen gets a bit trying. At least 

'sudo dpkg-reconfigure console-setup' 

is the command that saves the day.

The more that I use a terminal, I come to appreciate the simplicity 
and freedom from the distractions of the Web.
