Slowly but surely, I'm getting used to using only a terminal for my
interactions with SDF and Gopher. I also have been using Newsboat for
my RSS news feeds in conjunction with the Lynx web browser. It's nice
to not be subjecting myself to Javascript cruft and dickovers on Web
pages. I don't require my articles to present like a magazine. Plain
text suits me fine.

I took today off from work in order to have an ECG performed on me.
No issues are present. The cardiologist just wanted to establish a
baseline for me, because I haven't had an ECG before.

In our part of Texas, it is currently 102 degrees F. outside. I'm just
fortunate that I don't have to work outside. I can't help but feel for
the construction crews working on Interstate 35 in San Antonio and
Austin. :O
