Longbranch Saloon, Adkins, TX

This particular venue has the distinction of having us exclusively as 
their house band once a month. The owners really like what Paul brings 
to the table. There were probably six birthday parties being held 
there. Of course, Mike was back with us on drums. Anthony was having 
back issues. He could barely move, yet he was a real trooper and did 
the entire gig. From the start of the night, we seemed to have more 
energy on stage than before. Perhaps it was the large crowd that was 
there.

On a side note, I had brought along an older Boss reverb pedal to try 
it on my rig. I didn't get through the first set before I put my original 
Behringer reverb pedal back in the chain. I couldn't get a good tone 
out of the Boss, regardless of the fact that Boss is a more expensive 
brand than Behringer. Once I went back to the old pedal, I felt that 
my rig woke up, and sparkled.
