The Web Visitor's Bill of Rights We, the users of the World Wide Web have a right to be respected, whatever our level of knowledge or technology, whatever the capacity and stipulations of our internet service providers. A webpage that is intended to provide information shall load as fast as possible. It is just as morally objectionable to discriminate against persons who - for whatever reason - do not or can not have a fast connection, as it is to discriminate on the basis of sex, age, skin color, hair length, or other arbitrary criteria. The index page of a website shall give a clear presentation of the purpose of the site, and provide meanigful and usable links to other parts of the site. This means that the content should be provided as TEXT - not images, not some proprietary format that requires special software and perfect eyesight. (2B continued....?) Please keep your fscking Flash intros where they belong, in some out-of-the-way playroom.
