		in syracuse -- a lake-long lake!
		it laps the shores and teardrops in-town
		the gray blue glass goes on and on
		it's sad and soft in leaded smoulder

		to get to know you better -- lake --

		but in your town i lack a shoulder
		to keep in bend her long straight hair
		and step on boards as we grow fonder
