Spam Theory

... to be put to the test shortly



Not really a theory per-se, but more of a test to see where spam is created.



HOW

I'm going to create 50 - 100 different "random" e-mail accounts on my personal server.  For example, "jackrabbit220" as 
a name on my personal server.  One that is not easily guessed.  Then with that account, I'm going to sign up on another 
server... mostly commercial servers (ex: amazon.com, bn.com, yahoo.com, etc) and see which account gets spam, despite 
the commerical accounts anti-spam statements.

Each name will be on one commercail account and one only.  This will be with the first 50 email addresses I come up 
with.

The next 50 will be posted on different message boards where spiders / e-mil harversters exists, and we'll see which 
ones then get the most spam.  i.e., which message boards create the most spam.

PURPOSE

To find the commercial spam offenders and to see which message boards are the most effective againt spam / email 
harvesters.
