Old E Alan Oda Tue May 8 21:04:24 2001 Hey what ever happened to Alan Oda? Was he cool to work with? ---------------------------------------------------------------- dragon147~ Alans Home Page Sun May 13 09:58:41 2001 Check out his home page at http://www.alan.fm/ When he got tired of all the BS from Silvers and Longwell he went to the Zone in Sacramento, understand they, (S&L) offered to double his salary when he turned in his resignation. He passed, and it was their loss. The few times IÕve had dealings with him, Alan was very professional. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous Re: Alan Oda Wed May 9 13:53:13 2001 Alan went to Sacramento,I believe. When I-94 was being sold for the 3rd time in 20 months,he saw the corporate writing on the wall and bailed out and went to a small group in northern Ca.He was consulting I-94 until Fred was hired. Incidentally, that was the last time I-94 had great lynne out and Alan left. I enjoyed working with Alan-he was honest and upfront-novel concept, that. He did a lot for Pablo-ask him. And I don't think a lot of the current I-94 jocks would be on with Alan here. Too sloppy, too much into themselves. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Yo Bro I-94 Jocks Wed May 9 20:47:24 2001 I agree, Alan did alot for I-94. As for the jocks now, You are right. Not enough Selling the MUSIC Too Much EGO!!! Big Teeze and the madhouse are a lousy rip off of Lanai and the loose crew. Pablo, a lousy rip off of Lanai. Kathy with a K I liked better @ Radio Free Hawaii. Oh well.. I-94 is not even a variable now. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous Re: I-94 Jocks Wed May 9 21:02:22 2001 Add to that the loss of Shilynne Cole. She was the only one at that station that was really informed about the music they play. Her weekend countdown kicked @$$, and as for the wake-up crew... well, lets just say nt been the same since she left. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous Re: Alan Oda and Shilynne Cole Thu May 10 19:23:09 2001 Aloha, As a current weekend warrior, I wish Alan and Shilynne were still around. Although I don't work for cc, I've heard that those two were nothing but class people. Wish I could say that much about some people in this business now.
