Next to the West Kittsondale/Triple Helix is a small brick and sandstone bluff drain that empties into a series of pools that cascade into the river. Its outer protrusion is formed of concrete, but quickly transistions to brick. It follows a wide channel design for a few feet, but then transitions to channelless with a brick floor. Its sandstone section is very short, but has a few notable features, for one, its low walls are asymetric, the left side (comming in that is) is made of building brick, and the right side is made of granite blocks which also form the floor in this section, the other unique feature is that that 2/3 of the way through, the side walls raise up and the sandstone ceiling comes down. The drain returns to a small archway of brick which leads to a granite chute which water flows down.
