Yeah, unless the repub party shapes up with their choice. then
   maybe there will be competition. _typically_ democrat follows
   republican, republican follows democrat. Not always though. But
   it's hard to say for sure 'til the primaries. Then we'll know
   who's in and who's out in both parties. THEN AGAIN... if the
   repub prty _does_ put trump in... he stands a good chance of
   getting people out to vote that NEVER usually bother voting at
   all. Similar to the successful thing Obama did, but instead of
   going through small towns with megaphones and local grassroots
   campaigns, Trump's spending VERY little money and just saying
   whatever will draw the non-voters out of the woodwork.
   Ultimately? I don't worry about it much. Presidential powers are
   necessarily limited by design. Thank goodness for that. So I
   don't worry who is going in all that much. MOST things don't
   change a whole lot, no matter who is president. They are the
   figurehead and get the credit and the blame. That's most of the
   job. Of course they have SOME significant powers too. But, corny
   as it is, I believe we have a strong system in place to keep the
   country from falling apart whoever's in power. But as of today,
   I agree with Jay. Of course it could change. Clinton seems to
   have the best shot for numerous reasons. That's not to say I'm
   voting for her. I never decide 'til I'm behind the curtain
   anyway. [I usually vote. Not always but usually] But I'm not
   going to think TOO much about 'til the primaries are done.
