Oh I agree. I hold the same notion about a lot of things that I
   believe are done wrong with regards to children.

   sometimes I look around at the world and I'm amazed we've made
   it for hundreds of thousands of years and yet, here you are and
   here I am.

   That alone gives me hope.

   But yes, things could be better - much better.
