The key to a scientific mindset:

   You have to invent your own problems.

   Then you have to solve them.

   Wonder and curiosity and willingness to really try to understand
   something and figure it out: That's a scientific mindset. That's
   an active mind. That's a person, when bored, looks for a problem
   to solve rather than say ''poor me''.
