(I was an oddball - I kidsat as a teenager, taught sunday school
   to preschoolers + 8th graders, worked w/the kindergardeners at
   my k-12 school - and thankfuly, if anybody thought twice about
   it - they kept it to themselves. I remember as a teenager asking
   one of the mothers, who I was fond of, "Carlotta, do you think
   I'd make a good father?"
