^I just finished talking to a new friend from Brazil on chat.
   It's interesting, meeting random people, especially from
   different languages and cultures. He's practicing his English on
   me and it's pretty neat. I simplify my sentences to a more basic
   English, which isn't difficult - no different than talking to a
   young person. One of my favorite Portuguese phrases used online
   is "Abracos" - it means "Hugs". I'm not planning to go to Brazil
   - I just got this slew of friend requests and I figured, heck,
   dive in for a 1/2 hr at night. It's surprisingly interesting.
   yes, I do things most people don't do, but it makes sense to
   me.^
