   that I've finished the "Inventions and discoveries" book, I'm
   going to follow up on a suggestion by Elizabeth Riggs and watch
   the Connections series, which links together various inventions
   and discoveries into a chain going from past to present. Once
   I'm done with the series, I'll have it "out of my system" and
   move on to the next topic that I want to fill my head with.^
