   Heard of the Uncertainty Principal? (can't know both an
   electron's direction and location completely accurately at the
   same time)? A lot of mysticism surrounds Quantum stuff but it's
   really quite simple - and it's not just quantum: Example: Public
   Opinion polls. "Hearing a question about a particular policy or
   problem changes to some unknowable extent the opinion of those
   responding". By getting involved in some way, you've changed the
   very thing you're trying to measure. Police interrogation,
   scientific studies of people's behavior, even security cameras,
   children's behavior when they're alone vs around parents or
   teachers - simply knowing someone's watching or paying attention
   can change what you do or say, making it diffult to know for
   certain the truth of what you're trying to figure out. That's
   the Uncertainty Principal (Heisenberg) or Complementarity
   (Bohr's word for it) in action.^
