Actually, it WAS really nice having a Saturday birthday. But 40
   man, wow. It oughtta bother me but I'm grateful to be alive and
   in decent health and my brain is functioning okay. I still can't
   verbalize a story worth a damn but maybe by the time I'm 60 I'll
   figure that one out. "
