What would a functioning emotional philosophy be like? Philosophy with an emotional basis rather than a strictly logical/reasoning basis. Both incorporate parts of the other yet philosophies TEND to emphasize reason over emotion significantly. I wondered if it could be flipped and what it would look like. I anticipate the very question to be considered absurd even to ask by most but I expect some to pursue it. I think it is a valid question worth investigating. === [Stoicim + asceticism] You've mentioned two excellent existing candidates for the OP. They're also two emotional philosophies which I've experimented with at times and found agreeable to apply at least in part. Useful stuff. ==
