PLUS: after a year of trolling in Philosophy forums, I REALLY know better what "non-linear, non-subjective perspective" means. I mean I knew what it meant the other times I watched it, but after going through all sorts of wonky debates with people who REALLY know way too much about subjectivism, objectivism, etc , I've gained several new pairs of eyes to see it with. == I still see sewing machines stitching things across Time and Space in my mind, but after dealing with the word FALLACY 10,000 times... at least I can DEFEND the Doctor's statement using their language a little better now. But man, awful place. Very dark. Philosophy forums that is. Totally soulless stuff. I'm out of most of them now 'cause I got all of the answers I needed. == Yup. They were riding the light the whole time: the thing that was driving them along to continue reaching out to people and discussing these things was the very light itself. Communication. Connection. But they sometimes can't see it. I got a few people to 'break free' of it. I mean they're still into philosophy 1000% but I'd try to get them to a point where they could see ME as a friend and not see a debate to conquer == Absolutely smile emoticon It's like they're stuck in a never-ending chess-match with themselves and they can't see the lines between the squares, the fact that it's a game, they're sitting in chairs behind their computers and that someone is caring enough on the far end of the internet to talk to them... ..or in real life. Real life philosophers, at least you can distract them better wink emoticon
