The panther didn't do anything wrong - we moved into its
   territory. But the biologist I talked to just 5 minutes ago on
   the phone was surprised that the panther had come this far north
   for food. He's coming by this morning before noon to put
   together a report for the FWC, so hopefully I'll be able to help
   fill him in with enough info to be helpful to him. Fred will end
   up being just a statistic -- but at least he will be counted for
   something and perhaps his death will not have been in vain. "
